Following Sandra Madgwick’s successful career which started at the Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet now the Birmingham Royal Ballet, she started the Little Swans School of Dance to pass on her love of dancing to another generation of children. Young children love to move, it helps them feel good about themselves and it helps them to learn, listening skills are stimulated together with self-confidence and the ability to express themselves. Through dance physical fitness is enhanced and of course there is all the fun of the social benefits that participation in dance can bring. Through the Royal Academy of Dance and the La Four Prima Dance Syllabus she provides appropriate levels of study to foster skills and attitudes necessary for healthy active lives whilst encouraging and developing children’s imaginations through creativity, expression and musicality.
